Customer & Donor Intelligence

When commerce, constituent, and email systems report separately, teams can miss important relationships between the same people across platforms.

The challenge

The organization had useful reports inside commerce, fundraising, and communications platforms, but comparison between systems required careful matching. Email addresses, multiple records, and missing fields all affect accuracy.

My contribution

  • Structured source exports across Shopify orders and customers, Raiser’s Edge NXT constituents, and Constant Contact communication health.
  • Developed match and review rules around email-based overlaps instead of assuming every repeated name represents the same person.
  • Built reporting views around product sales, customer profile summaries, donor overlaps, and contact quality.
  • Identified refresh, stewardship, and access-control requirements for a sustainable Power BI reporting environment.

Results and scope

A working project snapshot identified approximately 466 buyer–donor matches. This is a matching-output count, not a claim of 466 independently verified unique people or a monetary return. The larger result is a framework for asking cross-functional questions that standalone platform reports do not answer.

How to interpret the figures: ≈466 is a rounded historical project snapshot. Matching criteria, reference dates, and eligibility rules should be rechecked before publishing as a verified production KPI.
